NYMEX Wednesday Wrap: Oil tops $37; Brent/WTI spread slips to 9 cts
HOUSTON, December 23, 2015 (PCW) -- February NYMEX crude futures settled up $1.36/bbl to $37.50/bbl.
February Brent at the close of the NYMEX increased $1.17 to $37.41/bbl. The February Brent/WTI spread narrowed to $0.09/bbl favoring WTI. Prompt natural gas futures were up 9.5 cents at $1.983/mmBtu. January NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.2414 pg, up 6.65 cpg.
US Gulf cash gasoline differentials were lower versus Tuesday’s levels.
A4 CBOB 87 regular was lower at 10.50 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was weaker at 10.50 cpg under the screen.
D4 CBOB 93 premium was fell to 10.75 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 decreased to 10.75 cpg over the screen.
RBOB was down at 8.00 cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $9.27/bbl, $4.26S/bbl under the screen. – John Troland
