NYMEX Tuesday Wrap: Oil approaches $38; Brent/WTI spread widens to 15 cts
HOUSTON, December 29, 2015 (PCW) -- February NYMEX crude futures settled up $1.06/bbl to $37.87/bbl. February Brent at the close of the NYMEX increased $1.01 to $37.72/bbl.
The February Brent/WTI spread widened to $0.15/bbl favoring WTI.. Prompt natural gas futures were up 14.4 cents at $2.372/mmBtu. January NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.2760 pg, up 4.34 cpg.
US Gulf cash gasoline differentials were mixed versus Monday’s levels.
A4 CBOB 87 regular was higher at 10.25 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was stronger at 10.25 cpg under the screen.
D4 CBOB 93 premium fell to 11.50 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 decreased to 11.50 cpg over the screen.
RBOB was down at 9.25 cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $11.19/bbl, $3.18/bbl under the screen. – John Troland
