NYMEX Thursday Wrap: Crude recovers, WTI finishes above $40/bbl

HOUSTON, December 3 2015 (PCW) -- January NYMEX crude futures settled up $1.14/bbl to $41.08/bbl. January Brent at the close of the NYMEX increased $1.63 to $44.14/bbl.

The January Brent/WTI spread widened to $3.06/bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were up 1.6 cents at $2.181/mmBtu. January NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.2963/gal, up 0.32 cpg.

US Gulf cash gasoline differentials were mostly softer versus Wednesday’s levels.

The 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $8.43/bbl, $5.81/bbl under the screen. – John Troland
