NYMEX Thursday Wrap: Crude, nat gas, gasoline extend gains
HOUSTON, December 1, 2016 (PCW) — January NYMEX crude futures settled up $1.62/bbl to $51.06/bbl. February Brent at the close of the NYMEX increased $2.02/bbl to $53.88/bbl.
The February Brent/WTI spread widened to $1.92/bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were up 15.3 cents at $3.505/mmBtu. January NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.5470/gal, up 6.45 cpg.
December gasoline differentials were steady to weaker versus Wednesday’s levels.
A4 CBOB 87 regular was firm at 10.50 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was steady at 10.00 cpg under the screen.
D4 CBOB 93 premium was unchanged at 7.00 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 was steady at 7.50 cpg over the screen.
RBOB was weaker at 9.50 cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $11.46/bbl, $3.87/bbl under the screen. – John Troland
