NYMEX Wednesday Wrap: Crude, nat gas, gasoline extend losses

HOUSTON, December 7, 2016 (PCW) — January NYMEX crude futures settled down $1.16/bbl to $49.77/bbl. February Brent at the close of the NYMEX decreased $0.89/bbl to $53.15/bbl.

The February Brent/WTI spread widened to $2.21/bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were down 3.2 cents at $3.603/mmBtu. January NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.5082/gal, down 2.77 cpg.

December gasoline differentials were stronger versus Tuesday’s levels.

The 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $11.49/bbl, $3.63/bbl under the screen. – John Troland
