NYMEX Friday Wrap: Crude tops $51, nat gas climbs more than 5 cents
HOUSTON, December 9, 2016 (PCW) -- January NYMEX crude futures settled up $0.66 BBl to $51.50. February Brent at the close of the NYMEX increased $0.37 to $54.22. The February Brent/WTI spread narrowed to $1.78/bbl favoring Brent.
Prompt natural gas futures were up 5.1 cents at $3.746/mmBtu. January NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.5073 pg, up 0.26 cpg.
December gasoline differentials were higher versus Thursday’s levels.
A4 CBOB 87 regular was higher at 7.75 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was higher at 7.25 cpg under the screen.
D4 CBOB 93 premium was higher at 12.25 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 was higher at 12.75 cpg over the screen.
RBOB was higher at 5.00 cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $10.05/bbl, $3.58/bbl under the screen. – John Troland.
