NYMEX Monday Wrap: Crude settles above $52 a barrel, nat gas falls
HOUSTON, December 19 2016 (PCW) — January NYMEX crude futures settled up $0.22 BBl to $52.12. February Brent at the close of the NYMEX decreased $0.23 to $54.97. The February Brent/WTI spread narrowed to $1.91/bbl favoring Brent.
Prompt natural gas futures were down 2.3 cents at $3.392/mmBtu. January NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.5639 pg, up 0.68 cpg.
December gasoline differentials were mostly lower versus Friday’s levels.
A4 CBOB 87 regular was lower at 7.25 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was lower at 7.50 cpg under the screen.
D4 CBOB 93 premium was lower at 9.75 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 was lower at 9.50 cpg over the screen.
RBOB was higher at 5.25 cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $11.68/bbl, $3.36/bbl under the screen. – John Troland.
