US nonfuel use propylene stocks edge higher
HOUSTON, December 6, 2017 (PCW) -- US nonfuel use propylene inventories rose 20,000 barrels (0.8%) to 2.572 million barrels for the week of December 1, the Department of Energy said today.
It was the first rise in three weeks, and the fourth uptick in the past twelve weeks, according to the department's Energy Information Administration.
Propylene inventories remain well below the 52-week average of 3.072 million barrels.
Upstream, US Gulf refinery utilization rates last week were up 0.4 percentage point at 94.8%.
