NYMEX Tuesday Wrap: Oil rises, gas drops 5.3 cents
HOUSTON, December 19, 2017 (PCW) — January NYMEX crude futures settled up $0.30/bbl at $57.46/bbl. February Brent at the close of the NYMEX Increased $0.38/bbl at $63.71/bbl. The February Brent/WTI spread widened to $6.15/bbl favoring Brent.
Prompt natural gas futures were down 5.3 cents at $2.692 mmBtu. January NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.6966 gal, up 2.41 cpg.
January gasoline differentials were higher versus Monday’s levels.
A4 CBOB 87 regular was higher at 4.25 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was up at 4.25 cpg under the screen.
D4 CBOB 93 premium was higher at 4.50 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 was up at 4.50 over the screen.
RBOB was higher at 4.00 cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $9.52 bbl, $7.68/bbl under the screen. – John Troland
