US nonfuel use propylene supplies climb for second week
HOUSTON, December 28, 2017 (PCW) -- US nonfuel use propylene inventories rose 117,000 barrels (4.5%) last week to 2.702 million barrels, the Department of Energy said today. It was the second straight weekly gain and the third in the past four weeks, according to the the department's Energy Information Administration. Still, supplies are almost 44 percent below year-earlier levels.
Meanwhile, US Gulf refinery utilization rates inched up 0.2 percentage point to 96.1%, returning to levels seen the week before Hurricane Harvey struck.
