NYMEX Monday Wrap: Crude kicks off week with loss; natgas trends lower
Houston, February 1, 2016 (PCW) -— March NYMEX crude futures settled down $2/bbl to $31.62/bbl. March Brent at the close of the NYMEX decreased $1.25 to $34.24/bbl.
The March Brent/WTI spread widened to $2.62/bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were down 14.6 cents at $2.152/mmBtu. March NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.0830/gal, down 4.93 cpg.
US Gulf cash gasoline differentials ended lower versus Friday’s levels.
A4 CBOB 87 regular was 4 cpg lower at 12 cpg under the screen.
D4 CBOB 93 premium fell 2 cpg to 12.50 over the screen.
CBOB 87 was 4 cpg lower at 12 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 93 fell 2 cpg to 12.50 cpg over the screen.
RBOB decreased 3 cpg to 10.75 cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $10.65/bbl, $2.57/bbl under the screen. – John Troland
