NYMEX Thursday Wrap: Crude extends rally; natgas sees steep decline
Houston, February 18, 2016 (PCW) -— March NYMEX crude futures settled up $0.11/bbl to $30.77/bbl. April Brent at the close of the NYMEX decreased $0.57 to $34.07.
The April Brent/WTI spread narrowed to $1.14/bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were down 9 cents at $1.852/mmBtu. March NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $0.9724/gal, down 3.10 cpg.
US Gulf cash gasoline differentials ended weaker versus Wednesday’s levels.
A4 CBOB 87 regular was lower at 11.75 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was down at 11.75 cpg under the screen.
D4 CBOB 93 premium fell to 11.50 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 decreased to 11.50 cpg over the screen.
RBOB was softer at 11 cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $9.01/bbl, $2.56/bbl under the screen. – John Troland
