NYMEX Tuesday Wrap: Crude, natural gas give back Monday's gains
Houston, February 23 2016 (PCW)--April NYMEX crude futures settled down $1.52/bbl, to $31.87/bbl. April Brent at the close of the NYMEX decreased $1.06 to $33.36/bbl. The April Brent/WTI spread widened to $1.49/bbl favoring Brent.
Prompt natural gas futures were down 3.9 cents at $1.782/mmBtu. March NYMEX RBOB futures closed at 96.63 cpg, down 3.43 cpg.
US Gulf cash gasoline differentials ended mostly lower versus Monday’s levels.
A3 CBOB 87 regular was lower at 11.00 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was down at 13.00 cpg under the screen.
D3 CBOB 93 premium fell to 13.50 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 was steady at 11.50 cpg over the screen.
RBOB was down at 13.75 cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $8.72/bbl, $2.53/bbl under the screen. -- John Troland.
