NYMEX Friday Wrap: Crude closes week with losses; natgas sees slight recovery
Houston, February 26, 2016 (PCW) —- April NYMEX crude futures settled down $0.29/bbl to $32.78/bbl. April Brent at the close of the NYMEX decreased $0.16/bbl to $35.18/bbl.
The April Brent/WTI spread widened to $2.40/bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were up 0.6 cents at $1.791/mmBtu. March NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.0166/gal, down 3.94 cpg.
US Gulf cash gasoline differentials ended weaker versus Thursday’s levels.
A3 CBOB 87 regular was lower at 2.50 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was down at 2.50 cpg under the screen.
D3 CBOB 93 premium fell to 18 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 was down at 18 cpg over the screen.
RBOB was lower at 1.50 cpg over the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $10.72/bbl, $1.23/bbl under the screen. – John Troland
