NGL production up 1.5% month-on-month in December: EIA data
HOUSTON, February 29, 2016 (PCW) -– Natural gas liquids production rose about 1.56 million barrels to 104.629 million barrels between November and December, according to EIA data released Monday.
Ethane/ethylene production continued to outpace that of propane/propylene. Ethane/ethylene production was 37.506 million barrels in December, up 972,000 barrels from November. Propane/propylene production came in at 35.143 million barrels in December, up 574,000 barrels from November.
Other NGLs’ production data is as follows:
Butane/butylene: 9.735 million barrels, down 319,000 barrels from November
Isobutane/isobutylene: 9.579 million barrels, an increase of 463,000 barrels
Pentanes plus (natural gasoline): 12.666 million barrels, a 132,000 barrel decrease
