NYMEX Wednesday Wrap: Crude, natgas rally; Gulf gasoline diffs soften
Houston, February 3, 2016 (PCW) -— March NYMEX crude futures settled up $2.40/bbl to $32.28/bbl. April Brent at the close of the NYMEX increased $2/bbl to $34.84/bbl.
The April Brent/WTI spread narrowed to $0.98/bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were up 1.3 cents at $2.038/mmBtu. March NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.0137/gal, up 1.29 cpg.
US Gulf cash gasoline differentials ended weaker versus Tuesday’s levels.
A4 CBOB 87 regular was lower at 15.75 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was down at 15.75 cpg under the screen.
D4 CBOB 93 premium fell to 6.75 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 softened to 6.75 cpg over the screen.
RBOB decreased to 15.25 cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $7.82/bbl, $3.41/bbl under the screen. – John Troland.
