NYMEX Thursday Wrap: Crude sees slight losses; natgas drops below $2
Houston, February 4, 2016 (PCW) —- March NYMEX crude futures settled down $0.56/bbl to $32.28/bbl. April Brent at the close of the NYMEX decreased $0.35 to $34.49/bbl.
The April Brent/WTI spread widened to $1.11/bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were down 6.6 cents at $1.972/mmBtu. March NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.0284/gal, up 1.47 cpg.
US Gulf cash gasoline differentials ended mostly weaker versus Wednesday’s levels.
A4 CBOB 87 regular was lower at 16.75 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was down at 16.75 cpg under the screen.
D4 CBOB 93 premium fell to 5.75 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 declined to 5.75 cpg over the screen.
RBOB was steady at 15.25 cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $8.55/bbl, $3.65/bbl under the screen. – John Troland.
