NYMEX Monday Wrap: Crude kicks off week with loss; WTI finished below $30/bbl
Houston, February 8, 2016 (PCW) -— March NYMEX crude futures settled down $1.20/bbl to $29.69/bbl. April Brent at the close of the NYMEX decreased $1.04 to $33.01/bbl.
The April Brent/WTI spread widened to $1.37/bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were up 7.7 cents at $2.140/mmBtu. March NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $0.9561/gal, down 3.66 cpg.
US Gulf cash gasoline differentials ended mixed versus Friday’s levels.
A4 CBOB 87 regular was lower at 16 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was down at 16 cpg under the screen.
D4 CBOB 93 premium rose to 6.50 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 increased to 6.50 cpg over the screen.
RBOB was lower at 15.25 cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $8.14/bbl, $3.59/bbl under the screen. – John Troland
