NYMEX Friday Wrap: Crude, gasoline close week with slight gains; nat gas plummets
HOUSTON, February 3, 2017 (PCW) — March NYMEX crude futures settled up $0.29/bbl to $53.83/bbl. April Brent at the close of the NYMEX increased $0.19/bbl to $56.90/bbl.
The April Brent/WTI spread was steady at $2.43/bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were down 12.4 cents at $3.063/mmBtu. March NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.5537/gal, up 2.08 cpg.
February gasoline differentials were steady to stronger versus Thursday’s levels.
A4 CBOB 87 regular was up at 3.50 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was stronger at 3.25 cpg under the screen.
D4 CBOB 93 premium was steady at 9.75 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 was unchanged at 10.00 cpg over the screen.
RBOB was firm at 2.00 cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $10.71/bbl, $2.28/bbl under the screen. – John Troland
