NYMEX Tuesday Wrap: Crude, gasoline extend losses; nat gas rallies
HOUSTON, February 7, 2017 (PCW) — March NYMEX crude futures settled down $0.84/bbl to $52.17/bbl. April Brent at the close of the NYMEX decreased $1.02/bbl to $54.88/bbl.
The April Brent/WTI spread narrowed to at $2.10/bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were up 8 cents at $3.130/mmBtu. March NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.4875/gal, down 2.28 cpg.
February gasoline differentials were mostly stronger versus Monday’s levels.
A4 CBOB 87 regular was up at 2.75 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was higher at 3.00 cpg under the screen.
D4 CBOB 93 premium was stronger at 9.50 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 rose to 9.25 cpg over the screen.
RBOB was steady at 2.25 cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $10.17/bbl, $2.02/bbl under the screen. – John Troland
