US nonfuel use propylene supplies drop to lowest level since October
Houston, February 8, 2017 (PCW) -- US nonfuel use propylene inventories fell by 277,000 bbls (7.2%) to 3.547 million bbls, the sixth consecutive inventory draw, the Energy Department reported today. Propylene stocks have fallen by 900,000 bbls over the past four weeks, reaching their lowest level since Oct 2016, according to the department's Energy Information Administration. Meanwhile, Gulf Coast refinery utilization fell 1 percentage point last week to 86.2%. -- David Barry
