NYMEX Thursday Wrap: Crude, gasoline inch up; nat gas falters
HOUSTON, February 9, 2017 (PCW) — March NYMEX crude futures settled up $0.66/bbl to $53.00/bbl. April Brent at the close of the NYMEX increased $0.72/bbl to $55.60/bbl.
The April Brent/WTI spread narrowed to $2.14/bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were up 1.5 cents at $3.141/mmBtu. March NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.5702/gal, up 1.75 cpg.
February gasoline differentials were weaker versus Wednesday’s levels.
A4 CBOB 87 regular was softer at 3.00 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was lower at 2.75 cpg under the screen.
D4 CBOB 93 premium was weaker at 9.25 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 was down at 9.50 cpg over the screen.
RBOB fell to 2.00 cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $11.92/bbl, $2.03/bbl under the screen. – John Troland
