NYMEX Friday Wrap: Crude, gasoline close week with gains; nat gas plummets
HOUSTON, February 10, 2017 (PCW) — March NYMEX crude futures settled up $0.86/bbl to $53.86/bbl. April Brent at the close of the NYMEX increased $1.10/bbl to $56.70/bbl.
The April Brent/WTI spread widened to $2.37/bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were down 10.7 cents at $3.034/mmBtu. March NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.5896/gal, up 1.94 cpg.
February gasoline differentials were mostly steady versus Thursday’s levels.
A4 CBOB 87 regular was unchanged at 3.00 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was firm at 2.75 cpg under the screen.
D4 CBOB 93 premium was steady at 9.25 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 was steady at 9.50 cpg over the screen.
RBOB was stronger at 1.50 cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $11.94/bbl, $2.03/bbl under the screen. – John Troland
