NYMEX Tuesday Wrap: Crude, gasoline rebound; nat gas probes lower
HOUSTON, February 14, 2017 (PCW) — March NYMEX crude futures settled up $0.27/bbl to $53.20/bbl. April Brent at the close of the NYMEX increased $0.37/bbl to $56/bbl.
The April Brent/WTI spread widened to $2.29/bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were down 3.9 cents at $2.905/mmBtu. March NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.5467/gal, up 0.21 cpg.
February gasoline differentials were softer versus Monday’s levels.
A4 CBOB 87 regular was weaker at 5.25 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was lower at 5.00 cpg under the screen.
D4 CBOB 93 premium was softer at 8.50 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 was down at 8.75 cpg over the screen.
RBOB fell too 3.25 cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $9.59/bbl, $3.45/bbl under the screen. – John Troland
