NYMEX Wednesday Wrap: Crude softens; nat gas, gasoline see increases

HOUSTON, February 15, 2017 (PCW) — March NYMEX crude futures settled down $0.09/bbl to $53.11/bbl. April Brent at the close of the NYMEX decreased $0.24/bbl to $55.76/bbl.

The April Brent/WTI spread narrowed to $2.16/bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were up 2.0 cents at $2.925/mmBtu. March NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.5479/gal, up 0.12 cpg.

February gasoline differentials were weaker versus Tuesday’s levels.

The 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $9.48/bbl, $3.58/bbl under the screen. – John Troland
