NYMEX Thursday Wrap: Crude posts mixed results; nat gas, gasoline probe lower

HOUSTON, February 16, 2017 (PCW) — March NYMEX crude futures settled up $0.25/bbl to $53.36/bbl. April Brent at the close of the NYMEX decreased $0.08/bbl to $55.68/bbl.

The April Brent/WTI spread narrowed to $1.93/bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were down 7.1 cents at $2.854/mmBtu. March NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.5247/gal, down 2.32 cpg.

February gasoline differentials were weaker versus Wednesday’s levels.

The 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $8.12/bbl, $3.58/bbl under the screen. – John Troland
