NYMEX Friday Wrap: Crude closes week with slight gains; nat gas, gasoline falter
HOUSTON, February 17 ,2017 (PCW) — March NYMEX crude futures settled up $0.04/bbl to $53.40/bbl. April Brent at the close of the NYMEX increased $0.14/bbl to $55.82/bbl.
The April Brent/WTI spread widened to $2.04/bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were down 2.0 cents at $2.834/mmBtu. March NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.5166/gal, down 0.81 cpg.
February gasoline differentials were stronger versus Thursday’s levels.
A3 CBOB 87 regular was up at 2.50 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was stronger at 6.25 cpg under the screen.
D3 CBOB 93 premium rose to 11.25 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 was higher at 7.50 cpg over the screen.
RBOB was stronger at 4.50 cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $8.48/bbl, $2.49/bbl under the screen. – John Troland
