NYMEX Thursday Wrap: Crude rises above $54, Brent/WTI spread narrows
HOUSTON, February 23, 2017 (PCW) — March NYMEX crude futures settled up $0.86/bbl to $54.45/bbl. April Brent at the close of the NYMEX increased $0.65/bbl to $56.56/bbl.
The April Brent/WTI spread narrowed to $2.11/bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were up 2.5 cents at $2.617/mmBtu. March NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.5286/gal, up 1.53 cpg. February gasoline differentials were stronger versus Wednesday’s levels.
A3 CBOB 87 regular was up at 1.75 cpg over the screen.
BOB 87 was stronger at 2.00 cpg over the screen.
3 CBOB 93 premium was higher at 17.25 cpg over the screen.
BOB 93 rose to 17.50 cpg over the screen.
BOB was higher at 0.50 cpg over the screen.
he 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $10.74/bbl, $1.15/bbl under the screen. – John Troland
