December NGL exports up 18.8%, hit all-time high: EIA data
HOUSTON, February 28, 2017 (PCW) -– Natural gas liquids exports rose 7.099 million barrels to 44.92 million barrels (1.45 million b/d) in December compared to November, according to EIA data released Tuesday. This bests the previous all-time high of 42.385 million barrels exported last May.
Propane/propylene exports rose 7.189 million barrels in December to 32.661 million barrels (1.05 million b/d). Ethane/ethylene exports was up 1.539 million barrels month-on-month to 4.276 million barrels (137,935 b/d) in December.
Other NGLs’ export data is as follows:
· Butane/butylene: 3.065 million barrels (98,871 b/d), down 1.501 million barrels from November;
· Isobutane/isobutylene: up 81,000 barrels from November to 169,000 barrels (5,452 b/d);
· Pentanes plus (natural gasoline): 4.749 million barrels (153,194 b/d), a 208,000 barrel decrease.
