NYMEX Tuesday Wrap: WTI/Brent prices diverge; nat gas rallies
HOUSTON, February 28, 2017 (PCW) — April NYMEX crude futures settled down $0.04/bbl to $54.01/bbl. April Brent at the close of the NYMEX increased $0.07/bbl to $55.99/bbl.
The April Brent/WTI spread widened to $1.98/bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were up 8.1 cents at $2.774/mmBtu. March NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.5120/gal, down 2.07 cpg.
February gasoline differentials were stronger versus Monday’s levels.
- A3 CBOB 87 regular was up at 3.00 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 87 was higher at 2.75 cpg over the screen.
D3 CBOB 93 premium was higher at 18.50 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 was stronger at 18.00 cpg over the screen.
RBOB rose to 5.25 cpg over the screen.
he 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $10.53/bbl, $0.84/bbl under the screen. – John Troland
