US nonfuel use propylene supplies decline to lowest level since April
HOUSTON, January 10, 2018 (PCW) -- US nonfuel use propylene inventories fell 76,000 barrels (3.0%) to 2.458 million barrels in the week of January 5, the Department of Energy said today. It was the second straight inventory drop, bringing propylene stocks to their lowest level since early April 2017, according to the department's Energy Information Administration. Inventories are 415,000 barrels below the 52-week average of 2.873 million barrels. Meanwhile, US Gulf refinery utilization fell 1.6 percentage points to 96.6%. -- David Barry
