NYMEX Wednesday Wrap: Crude extends gain, nat gas, gasoline falter
HOUSTON, January 10, 2018 (PCW) — February NYMEX crude futures settled up $0.61/bbl at $63.57/bbl. February Brent at the close of the NYMEX increased $0.43/bbl at $69.32 bbl.
The February Brent/WTI spread narrowed to $5.75/bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were down 1.7 cents at $2.906 mmBtu. February NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.8327 gal, down 0.35 cpg.
February gasoline differentials were stronger versus Tuesday’s levels.
A4 CBOB 87 regular was higher at 3.75 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 rose to 3.75 cpg under the screen.
D4 CBOB 93 premium was stronger at 7.00 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 was up at 7.00 over the screen.
RBOB was higher at 3.00 cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $9.41 bbl, $7.55/bbl under the screen. – John Troland
