US nonfuel use propylene stocks hit four-week high
HOUSTON, January 24, 2018 (PCW) -- US nonfuel use propylene inventories were up 176,000 barrels (7.2%) at 2.637 million barrels last week, the Department of Energy said today. It was the second consecutive weekly inventory build, and the seventh in the past twelve weeks, according to the department's Energy Information Administration. Propylene inventories remain 173,000 barrels (6.2%) below the 52-week average. Meanwhile, US Gulf refinery utilization fell 2.1 percentage points to 92.6%, the lowest level since late Nov, as severe winter weather affected operations at some refineries.
