NYMEX Wednesday Wrap: Crude, nat gas, gasoline continue to rise
HOUSTON, January 24, 2018 (PCW) -- March NYMEX crude futures settled up $1.14/bbl at $65.61/bbl. March Brent at the close of the NYMEX increased $0.57/bbl to $70.41/bbl.
The March Brent/WTI spread narrowed to $4.80/bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were up 6.5 cents at $3.509/mmBtu. February NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.9164/gal, up 0.77 cpg.
February gasoline differentials were mixed versus Tuesday’s levels.
A4 CBOB 87 regular was steady at 2.75 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was unchanged at 2.75 cpg under the screen.
D4 CBOB 93 premium was stronger at 8.50 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 was up at 8.50 over the screen.
RBOB was weaker at 2.50 cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $10.69/bbl, $6.54/bbl under the screen. -- John Troland
