NYMEX Thursday Wrap: Crude, nat gas, gasoline falter
HOUSTON, January 25, 2018 (PCW) — March NYMEX crude futures settled down $0.10/bbl at $65.51/bbl. March Brent at the close of the NYMEX increased $0.05/bbl at $70.46 bbl.
The March Brent/WTI spread widened at a $4.91/bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were down 6.2 cents at $3.447 mmBtu. February NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.9154 gal, down 0.10 cpg.
February gasoline differentials were mixed versus Wednesday’s levels.
A4 CBOB 87 regular was weaker at 3.00 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was down at 3.00 cpg under the screen.
D4 CBOB 93 premium was stronger at 8.75 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 was up at 8.75 over the screen.
RBOB was softer at 2.75 cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $10.88 bbl, $6.76/bbl under the screen. – John Troland
