NYMEX Wednesday Wrap: Crude, gasoline increase; nat gas crashes
HOUSTON, January 31, 2018 (PCW) — March NYMEX crude futures settled up $0.23/bbl at $64.73/bbl. March Brent at the close of the NYMEX increased $0.24/bbl at $69.17 bbl.
The March Brent/WTI spread widened at $4.44/bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were down 20.0 cents at $2.995 mmBtu. February NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.9075 gal, up 1.21 cpg.
February gasoline differentials were stronger versus Tuesday’s levels.
A4 CBOB 87 regular was higher at 5.75 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was up at 5.75 cpg under the screen.
D4 CBOB 93 premium was stronger at 7.50 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 was up at 7.50 over the screen.
RBOB rose to 4.50 cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $10.15 bbl, $7.40/bbl under the screen. – John Troland
