November NGL production down 1.1% in Nov, ethane hits record: EIA

HOUSTON, January 31, 2018 (PCW) –- Natural gas liquids fell 1.388 million barrels, or 1.1%, in November to 121.605 million barrels (4.05 million b/d) compared to the prior month, according to EIA data released Wednesday.

Ethane production marked a new all-time high of 48.087 million barrels (1.6 million b/d), up 64,000 barrels from October. Propane supplies came in at 38.896 barrels (1.3 million b/d), down 383,000 barrels from October.

Other NGLs’ production data is as follows:

-- Butane: 10.353 million barrels (345,100 b/d), down 225,000 barrels from October;

-- Isobutane: 10.409 million barrels (346,967 b/d), a decrease of 194,000 barrels;

-- Natural gasoline: 13.86 million barrels (462,000 b/d), a 650,000 barrel decrease.
