NYMEX Wednesday Wrap: Crude, nat gas, gasoline see large losses
HOUSTON, February 7, 2018 (PCW) — March NYMEX crude futures settled down $1.60/bbl at $61.79/bbl. April Brent at the close of the NYMEX decreased $1.35/bbl at $65.54 bbl.
The April Brent/WTI spread widened at $3.99/bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were down 5.7 cents at $2.702 mmBtu. March NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.7660 gal, down 3.92 cpg.
March gasoline differentials were mixed versus Tuesday’s levels.
A4 CBOB 87 regular was stronger at 2.75 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was up at 2.75 cpg under the screen.
D4 CBOB 93 premium was weaker at 10.50 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 was down at 10.50 over the screen.
RBOB rose to 2.25 cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $8.29 bbl, $6.41/bbl under the screen. – John Troland
