NYMEX Friday Wrap: Crude, nat gas, gasoline close week with steep losses
HOUSTON, February 9, 2018 (PCW) — March NYMEX crude futures settled down $1.95/bbl at $59.20/bbl. April Brent at the close of the NYMEX decreased $2.02/bbl at $62.79 bbl.
The April Brent/WTI spread narrowed at $3.80/bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were down 11.3 cents at $2.584 mmBtu. March NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.7002 gal, down 6.48 cpg.
March gasoline differentials were steady to stronger versus Thursday’s levels.
A4 CBOB 87 regular was steady at 3.00 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was firm at 3.00 cpg under the screen.
D4 CBOB 93 premium was stronger at 10.25 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 was up at 10.25 over the screen.
RBOB was unchanged at 2.50 cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $7.94 bbl, $6.44/bbl under the screen. – John Troland
