NYMEX Thursday Wrap: Crude, gasoline extend gains; nat gas softens again
HOUSTON, February 15, 2018 (PCW) -- March NYMEX crude futures settled up $0.74/bbl at $61.34/bbl. April Brent at the close of the NYMEX increased $0.05/bbl at $64.34/bbl. The April Brent/WTI spread narrowed to $3.17/bbl favoring Brent.
Prompt natural gas futures were down 0.7 cents at $2.580/mmBtu. March NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.7358/gal, up 2.28 cpg.
March gasoline differentials were higher versus Wednesday’s levels.
A4 CBOB 87 regular was higher at 4.00 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was up at 4.00 cpg under the screen.
D4 CBOB 93 premium was higher at 6.25 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 was up at 6.25 over the screen.
RBOB was higher at 3.25 cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $8.58/bbl, $5.16/bbl under the screen. -- John Troland
