NYMEX Friday Wrap: Crude, gasoline close week with gains; nat gas falls
HOUSTON, February 16, 2018 (PCW) — March NYMEX crude futures settled up $0.34/bbl at $61.68/bbl. April Brent at the close of the NYMEX increased $0.58/bbl at $64.92 bbl.
The April Brent/WTI spread widened at $3.37/bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were down 2.2 cents at $2.558 mmBtu. March NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.7509 gal, up 1.51 cpg.
March gasoline differentials were mixed versus Thursday’s levels.
A4 CBOB 87 regular was weaker at 4.25 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was down at 4.25 cpg under the screen.
D4 CBOB 93 premium was stronger at 6.50 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 was up at 6.50 over the screen.
RBOB was lower at 3.75 cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $8.93 bbl, $5.16/bbl under the screen. – John Troland
