NYMEX Tuesday Wrap: Crude posts mixed results; nat gas, gasoline increase
HOUSTON, February 21, 2018 (PCW) — April NYMEX crude futures settled down $0.11/bbl at $61.68/bbl. April Brent at the close of the NYMEX increased $0.12/bbl at $65.37 bbl.
The April Brent/WTI spread widened at $3.69/bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were up 4.3 cents at $2.659 mmBtu. March NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.7573 gal, up 0.70 cpg.
March gasoline differentials were weaker versus Tuesday’s levels.
A4 CBOB 87 regular was lower at 8.50 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was down at 8.50 cpg under the screen.
D4 CBOB 93 premium was softer at 3.00 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 was down at 3.00 over the screen.
RBOB fell to 7.25 cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $8.25 bbl, $6.28/bbl under the screen. – John Troland
