US nonfuel use propylene supplies climb for sixth straight week
HOUSTON, February 22, 2018 (PCW) -- US nonfuel use propylene inventories were up 50,000 barrels (1.6%) at 3.253 million barrels last week, the sixth consecutive increase, according to the Department of Energy. Propylene inventories have risen in nine of the past twelve weeks and are now 462,000 barrels (16.6%) above the 52-week average. Meanwhile, Gulf Coast refinery utilization was down for a second straight week at 86.8%, versus 89.4% in the prior week. -- David Barry
