NYMEX Monday Wrap: Crude, gasoline open week with losses; nat gas gains
HOUSTON, March 12, 2018 (PCW) — April NYMEX crude futures settled down $0.68/bbl at $61.36/bbl. May Brent at the close of the NYMEX decreased $0.48/bbl at $64.92 bbl.
The May Brent/WTI spread widened at $3.59 bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were up 4.6 cents at $2.778 mmBtu. April NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.8940 gal, down 1.03 cpg.
April gasoline differentials were mixed versus Friday’s levels.
A3 CBOB 87 regular was weaker at 25.25 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was down at 25.25 cpg under the screen.
D3 CBOB 93 premium was stronger at 8.00 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 93 was up at 8.00 under the screen.
RBOB rose to 7.25 cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $7.52 bbl, $10.26/bbl under the screen. – John Troland
