NYMEX Tuesday Wrap: Oil rises to top $63; nat gas gains
HOUSTON, March 20, 2018 (PCW) — April NYMEX crude futures settled up $1.34/bbl at $63.40/bbl. May Brent at the close of the NYMEX increased $1.35/bbl at $67.44 bbl. The May Brent/WTI spread narrowed at $3.90 bbl favoring Brent.
Prompt natural gas futures were up 2.4 cents at $2.675 mmBtu.
April NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.9659 gal, up 4.10 cpg. April gasoline differentials were mixed versus Monday’s levels.
A2 CBOB 87 regular was lower at 16.00 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was down at 16.00 cpg under the screen.
D2 CBOB 93 premium was higher at 2.50 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 was up at 2.50 over the screen.
RBOB was steady at 5.50 cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $11.48 bbl, $7.46/bbl under the screen. – John Troland
