NYMEX Wednesday Wrap: Crude, gasoline soar; nat gas declines again
HOUSTON, March 21, 2018 (PCW) — May NYMEX crude futures settled up $1.63/bbl at $65.17/bbl. May Brent at the close of the NYMEX increased $1.98/bbl at $69.42 bbl.
The May Brent/WTI spread widened at $4.25 bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were down 3.7 cents at $2.638 mmBtu. April NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $2.0122 gal, up 4.63 cpg.
April gasoline differentials were weaker versus Tuesday’s levels.
A2 CBOB 87 regular was softer at 17.00 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was down at 17.00 cpg under the screen.
D2 CBOB 93 premium was weaker at 1.75 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 was down at 1.75 over the screen.
RBOB fell to 7.25 cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $11.62 bbl, $7.65/bbl under the screen. – John Troland
