NYMEX Thursday Wrap: Crude, gasoline, nat gas soften
HOUSTON, March 22, 2018 (PCW) — May NYMEX crude futures settled down $0.87/bbl at $64.30/bbl. May Brent at the close of the NYMEX decreased $0.54/bbl at $68.88/bbl.
The May Brent/WTI spread widened at $4.70 bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were down 2.1 cents at $2.617 mmBtu. April NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $2.0096 gal, down 0.26 cpg.
April gasoline differentials were stronger versus Wednesday’s levels.
A2 CBOB 87 regular was higher at 16.75 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was up at 16.75 cpg under the screen.
D2 CBOB 93 premium was stringer at 3.00 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 was up at 3.00 over the screen.
RBOB rose to 6.50 cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $12.36 bbl, $7.55/bbl under the screen. – John Troland
