NYMEX Tuesday Wrap: Crude slips, RBOB, nat gas gain
HOUSTON, March 27, 2018 (PCW) — May NYMEX crude futures settled down $0.30/bbl at $65.25/bbl. May Brent at the close of the NYMEX decreased $0.13/bbl at $70.02 bbl.
The May Brent/WTI spread widened at $4.77 bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were up 7.3 cents at $2.691 mmBtu. April NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $2.0135 gal, up 0.31 cpg.
April gasoline differentials were mixed versus Monday’s level.
A2 CBOB 87 regular was lower at 17.50 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was down at 17.50 cpg under the screen.
D2 CBOB 93 premium was lower at 2.50 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 was down at 2.50 over the screen.
RBOB was lower at 6.50 cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $11.69 bbl, $7.80/bbl under the screen. – John Troland
