US nonfuel use propylene supplies drop for second week
HOUSTON, March 28, 2018 (PCW) -- US nonfuel use propylene inventories fell 96,000 barrels (3.2%) last week to 2.932 million barrels, according to the latest EIA data. It was the second consecutive drop in propylene inventories, bringing them to a two-month low. Propylene stocks have fallen in four of the past twelve weeks and are 2.5% (72,000 barrels) above the 52-week average of 2.86 million barrels. Meanwhile, US Gulf refinery utilization climbed 0.5 percentage point last week to 93.1%. -- David Barry
