NYMEX Monday Wrap: Crude, nat gas, gasoline open week with losses
HOUSTON, April 22, 2018 (PCW) — May NYMEX crude futures settled down $1.93/bbl at $63.01/bbl. June Brent at the close of the NYMEX decreased $1.59/bbl at $67.75 bbl.
The June Brent/WTI spread widened at $4.76 bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were down 5.0 cents at $2.683 mmBtu. May NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.9661 gal, down 5.45 cpg.
April gasoline differentials were mixed versus Thursday’s level.
A2 CBOB 87 regular was stronger at 16.25 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was up at 16.25 cpg under the screen.
D2 CBOB 93 premium was weaker at 3.25 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 was down at 3.25 over the screen.
RBOB was softer at 6.00 cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $12.25 bbl, $7.51/bbl under the screen. – John Troland
